I don’t have a lot of photos from this week! I’ve been keeping busy, although not as creatively invested as other weeks. Above is a quick card I sent out a few weeks ago with a pumpkin coaster I gifted someone. Speaking of pumpkin coasters, I did give two away this week in an Instagram giveaway. Here they are, all packaged up:

I love the little pink and orange heart charm on top. I tied it with a burlap leaf, a scrap of snippet roll and some lace trim. I forgot to ask the recipient if she likes tea, because that would have been a cute addition – some pumpkin spice tea. I hope it makes it through the mail ok. I wrapped packing material around this whole thing, but as we know, even with careful packaging, sometimes stuff gets messed up, somehow.
My giveaway winner was so on top of things, she gave me her info promptly and was so nice. And it’s already off to the destination! I like to mail things right away so I can get onto new crafty business.
Believe it or not, sometimes it’s like pulling teeth getting people to give me their actual name when mailing them things. Like do you want this or not, because I refuse to address this to craftymommytoashlyn2005. haha.

I read four books this week, and that makes 94 for the year so far! I liked all of these, but my favorite is the YA fantasy, This Poison Heart. I couldn’t put it down! I was only 23% of the way through it when I had to go check out the sequel from Libby. My next favorite is tied between The Lost Ticket and The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches (top two in pic). Both British fiction, both adorable. The Witches book reminded me a whole lot of The House in the Cerulean Sea, which was a favorite in January. Both have found family storylines and magical orphans.
And lastly, If the Shoe Fits, a modern Cinderella story, but with a lovely stepmom and stepsisters. It’s a Batchelor-like reality show story, with a plus-size main character (the MC’s body size is a main part of the plot which is why I mention it). If you liked One to Watch by Kate Stayman-London, you’ll like this one.

Lastly, the cute thing for this week are these Christmas stamps that I showed a screenshot of a few weeks ago. I finally got some when I dropped off the giveaway package at the PO. I think they’re adorable. $12, though! Holy moly. Usually I order stamps in the mail, but it seems weird to me that you have to pay shipping for stamps. haha!! Good thing they’re so cute.
Have a good week. π C
Adorable coasters! 94 books you are doing awesome! I love the Libby app and I also thinks itβs so strange that the post office charges shipping for stamps π€¦π»ββοΈ
Thanks, Row! Exactly with the stamps!
