How have two weeks already passed since my last update? I’m back on Instagram and it’s eating up a LOT of my time. I’m glad I took a month off of the app – I immediately felt a sense of peace while being away. Going forward, I’m scaling back on my online responsibilities so that it works better for me. I’ve also connected every day with someone I haven’t chatted with in a long while. I love that part of the app – new friendships and sharing encouragement. It feels really good.
I thought I’d share my Pumpkin Coasters – they were fun to make. I purchased the pattern last fall and I made a few before my move. I love playing with the colors on a small scale.
Also, BIG NEWS!!

DavidsTea has released their 2022 Tea Advent Calendars! The colors dazzle my eyeballs and I’m delighted. I’m hoping this means that navy blue is trending for Christmas. Love it. And, it looks like the Christmas fabric I ordered this summer. Eeeee!! I did order my advent calendar already (might as well, just in case), and I’ll just put it in my kitchen cupboard when it finally gets here.
Since we’re already on the topic of Christmas (I know! But I’m all about planning ahead and I don’t like procrastinating.) – look at the 2022 Christmas stamps!

Elves!!!! The Holiday Stamps are available 9/15/2022, so later this week I’ll probably order a set. Not that I send out any cards, but maybe??
I’ve only finished two books the past two weeks, but whatever. I really liked Love & Other Great Expectations. It’s a YA novel set in England. It was very fun. Recommend! I’m almost finished with two other books, one an audiobook, so at least next week I’ll have more to report.

Last weekend we went to Trader Joe’s. There were only a few pumpkin things out, but I found the Harvest Blend tea. I like it! Also, this upcoming week’s temperatures are supposed to be below 90. Whoa. Maybe “fall” really is coming to Florida… I’ve seen pictures on Facebook of people in other states where they are wearing fleece jackets and hoodies. Is it fall where you are? I noticed my beloved South Dakota has dropped to the 40s a few nights recently. IT SOUNDS WONDERFUL. Take me back. That’s all for this week. <3, C
